Do you want to formally prove your leadership experience and skills? Are you looking for a flexible alternative to standard university learning?

This leadership degree has been specially created by Deakin University for people who want evidence of their knowledge, skills and professional experience in leadership. You will reflect on your professional practice as a leader, and build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your expertise. You will earn formal recognition of your ability to create change and make things happen as a leader.

What do I need to apply?

You can enrol in these internationally-recognised postgraduate qualifications if you have already completed an undergraduate degree or have other evidence of equivalent academic capability.

Degree Structure

The Deakin Masters degree consists of two programs, 10 Professional Practice credentials and a capstone (equivalent to two programs). You can complete the degree in two years or less depending on your individual circumstances but have up to five years if you need more time.

At the start of your degree we will help you to develop a plan for completing units and credentials that meets your particular needs.

Minimum admission criteria:

• Bachelor degree in any discipline and at least five years of relevant work experience+ OR


• Associated Graduate Certificate of Professional Practice


• evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent

All applicants must meet the minimum English language requirements.
